Robinson & Parker LLP
Attorney Profile

Matt Dhaiti

Associate · San Diego

Matt works on the firm’s class actions and business disputes, with a background in data privacy and cybersecurity. Before joining Robinson & Parker, he practiced in DLA Piper’s data, privacy, and cybersecurity group, advising Fortune 500 companies on privacy compliance and risk management. That experience now goes toward the data breach and consumer privacy claims the firm brings on the plaintiff side.

He came to the law from politics, after national campaigns and municipal government, including as Press Secretary for the New York City Mayor’s Office of Immigrant Affairs.

Portrait of Matt Dhaiti

Years of explaining policy to reporters on deadline shaped how he writes. His briefs are built for a judge with a full calendar: the question first, the record cited, nothing padded.

The work

Matt’s work runs across the firm’s class actions and business disputes: class complaints, motions to compel arbitration, ex parte applications, summary judgment papers, written discovery, document review, and appearances at motion hearings and in arbitrations.

He prefers cases that turn on the factual record. On a small team, the lawyer who built that record is the one arguing from it, and Matt works every stage in between.

I came to litigation from politics, where an argument needs to land the first time you hear it. If that is what your matter needs, I’d like to hear about it.
